Vassi and Jake are expecting the second baby girl later this year and I am so excited to follow their family as it grows again! They booked my "Babies First Year Collection" for Stella, their firstborn. The collection consists of 6 photo shoots (pregnancy, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months) and a coffee table album with images from each session. We made a beautiful book for Stella and I am so happy they've decided to repeat the process for their second daughter.
Vassi was as beautiful as ever and it was so fun to see Stella getting so big! I can't wait to see more of ALL of the Biebers this year. Here are a couple of my favorites:

One of my closest photographer friends, Krista Johns, of Artessa Photography, and I decided to do a little photo shoot swap for each other as we've both been over due for updated professional head shots for sometime now. It's sort of ironic, but being a professional photographer generally means I am not on the captured side of the lens, so I have very few photos of myself. Occasionally though, when encouraged by a friend, I can find myself in a comfortable place on the other "side." Krista, you are a doll and you light up MY life! Thanks for being such a wonderful friend and thank you so much for the new photos!

Emma is a past bride that called me recently and wanted to do a photo shoot for her husband who has been deployed to Qatar. I met her on a sunny morning in Riverfront Park for a quick little portrait session and I just loved seeing Emma again! It's been about 4 years since we've seen each other and she is still as beautiful, both inside and out, as she was the day I first met her. The only thing different is... well... four years of life have happened to us both. :-) You are gorgeous gorgeous my dear. Thank you for driving all the way to Denver to see me! These are my favorites...

I have had the wonderful pleasure of photographing all three of my dear friend (and wedding planner extraordinaire), Ann Marlin's, sweet babies now. Ann and I met right after she had Wes, so I photographed him at 6 months and then his sister, Cate, when she was 6 months. I made Ann adorable little coffee table books for both other kiddos so it was only fair that Quinn got her day in the spotlight and a book too! :-) I really love photographing babies. I think we can learn a lot about happiness from babies and every time I work with one, they make my day brighter. Love you Ann! LOVE these photos...
