We’re Allie and Nick, and we like to approach photography a bit differently.

Here’s the story of how we got here.

Six years ago, I (Nick) learned about a new style of facial expression coaching that still to this day isn’t very common in the photography world. I tested it out on a friend by taking some shots of him for his online dating profile, and his matches skyrocketed. He even ended up meeting his wife.

Six years later and we’ve done the same for more than 1,000 people through our online dating photography company, The Match Artist. More and more people are finding new relationships, getting engaged, and getting married from the photos we take. We wanted to find a way to continue telling our clients’ stories.

With my wife Allie also being a photographer, we are bringing our experience shooting thousands of portrait sessions to the wedding world to continue telling stories in a way that feels truthful, artistic, and unique.
